Written by Claire Rees | 11 Dec 23

Marsden Building Society is the fourth Building Society in the UK this year to choose Jade ThirdEye Transaction Monitoring and Customer Screening solution to enhance their ability to detect Money Laundering and Financial Crime. Over a third of all UK Building Societies now use Jade ThirdEye SaaS (Software as a Service).

The award-winning Marsden Building Society was founded in 1860 and is the largest Lancashire-based building society, supporting members across eight branches with savings, mortgages and more.

Tracy Ashworth, Secretary and General Manager at Marsden Building Society commented, “Jade ThirdEye is going to make a real difference to our Financial Crime Team. Automating transaction monitoring and customer screening will free up more time for the team to focus on the investigation of suspicious activity and protecting our members from financial crime.

“Jade ThirdEye also provides us with the flexibility to create, manage and change Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime rules so we can respond rapidly to changing risks. As a cloud-based managed service, the solution is particularly attractive as it is automatically and regularly updated.”

Claire Rees, Client Manager, Jade ThirdEye said “We are delighted that the Marsden chose Jade ThirdEye to bring efficiencies to their Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime compliance process and we look forward to working with them to enhance their fight against financial crime.”
