New functionality for automated reporting to AUSTRAC adds efficiency and reliability to required regulatory reporting for Australian businesses
We’re excited to roll out the latest additional functionality for Prescribed Reporting in Jade ThirdEye – Automated reporting to AUSTRAC for Threshold Transaction Reports (TTRs)!
Included in this new functionality is the ability to have all available data prepopulated for you in a TTR report which you can then review, manage, and automatically submit to AUSTRAC. Jade ThirdEye also keeps a record of your report management and lets you know if AUSTRAC rejects a report, making it easy to comply and prove due diligence to regulators.
Being able to automatically submit TTRs to AUSTRAC is the latest update to the Prescribed Reports feature in Jade ThirdEye. This already includes automated reporting of IFTIs to AUSTRAC and automated reporting to the FIU for New Zealand businesses.
Helping you comply with confidence
All AML reporting entities have ongoing reporting obligations. As a reporting entity you must report certain transactions and suspicious matters and submit compliance reports to AUSTRAC.
According to Australian regulations:
A ‘threshold transaction’ is the transfer of physical currency of A$10,000 or more (or the foreign currency equivalent) as part of a designated service. A transfer can be either receiving or paying cash. As a reporting entity, you must report these transfers to AUSTRAC in a threshold transaction report (TTR) within 10 business days.
